4	Ash Dieback Survey Canopy dieback was estimated from a standard set of 11 photographs showing 0, 10, 20, 30 …. 100% dieback. The survey was conducted by estimating dieback on the first 10 ash trees found at each freeway exit. Although most dieback appears due to EAB, we did not attempt to determine the cause of dieback.
